STA's World Traveler Internship 2010

Back to WL, and so happy about it.

So, I was unable to go to work for the past two weeks because of the FIFTY TWO INCHES that the DC area got over one weeks time.  Fifty two inches is almost as tall as me, for any one wondering.  Above is a picture of the Capitol building during it all, and that man in the front is Cross-Country Skiing... really?  The winter we have had this year is just insane.

On another note, it's great to be back at WL.  I missed my bosses so much!  I came back and learned that we were devoting an entire wall in the editorial room to pictures of hot men.  So, naturally I came to work yesterday with 3 pictures of my own to add to the wall...

That is my boss Karin, probably hard at work, and the wall full of studs.  I plan to bring more in every day that I go in, because I have no real reason not to!  Man, I really love my internship.

On to the next thought!!  Saturday the 20th, I'm going to my first GALA!!! I am so excited! Its going to be fun and fancy, and I am bringing my friend Holly.  We get to go and I get to represent the magazine, and it is going to be so so so much fun! So expect pictures.

The last piece of fun news that I have is that my boss posted a thank you note that I wrote her on her website www.nakedthanks.com  (no nudity though, don't worry!).  Its a really cute website, you should check it out.

I wrote it on a PostIt note that has a kitten on it, I'm obsessed with it.  I love them!  I am so lucky to have this great internship, I can't wait to see what this weekend has in store for me at the Gala!  I'll obviously blog about it.
